Our thought leadership organization client is looking for a part time, remote, freelance Social Media Specialist to join their team ASAP:

 

Start = ASAP

Duration = long term freelance, 6+ months

Freelance, remote, East Coast hours

 

**This role has part time hours.  A typical week will be between 10-15 hours**

 

Social Media Specialist =

 

The Social Media Specialist role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social media marketer and strategist, an individual who is highly entrepreneurial looking for a dynamic environment, someone ready to make an impact working with a great team of professionals. In this position, you will work closely with our Storytelling and Communications team to engage, mobilize and help grow the social media platforms for our client members. We are looking for a motivated and mission-oriented person with graphic design skills, social media and online engagement expertise.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Develop, implement and manage multiple client members’ social media strategy, to create compelling content for their target audience across diverse social media platforms

 

Identify, conceptualize, design, write captions, and execute campaigns to boost engagement and growth for members’ platforms. Continuously monitor and modify strategies based on audience insights.

 

Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar for each client member.

 

Measure and report the success of social media campaigns

 

Create simple visual and animated assets for sharing, or collaborate with a team of producers, coaches, web developers, and graphic designers for more complex assets and content.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Minimum 4 years of professional social media experience, with a proven track record in building and expanding social audiences.

 

Professional experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

 

Excellent writing skills, and an ability to write for a range of editorial voices.

 

Great interpersonal and communication skills

 

Basic design skills using Photoshop or Canva, and simple video subtitling tools such as Headliner.

 

Professional experience with relevant social media monitoring tools.

 

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask on deadline.

 

Confidence in executing tasks independently and ability to work with remote team members.

 

Experience managing social media platforms for corporate executives preferred.
