Our client, a healthcare organization is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a one year contract. This would be a hybrid onsite/offsite role. 2-3 days onsite 2 -3days remote. The office is located in Streeterville.

The ideal candidate seeks to empathize and understand users’ needs, then translates those needs into
specific interaction and UI designs. You thrive on informed iteration in order to design experiences that
work, and at scale. You have a keen eye for detail and organization both in your work product and in
how you work. Collaboration is in your DNA, but you aren’t afraid to prioritize, make decisions and
communicate with authority.
● Design experiences and interfaces for various digital platforms: responsive web, iOS, and
● Create low and high-fidelity mockup and prototypes
● Consistently apply digital style guidelines and brand standards
● Clearly communicate UX design to clients, product owners, developers
● Adjust designs according to constructive feedback and business needs
● Establish and document interaction patterns and use cases
● Help developers implement designs to pixel perfection
● Identify, plan, and execute usability testing
Qualified candidates will have:
● Working knowledge of: Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite
● 2+ years experience designing for the web, including responsive design, and for iOS and Android
● A solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B
testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
● Design
○ Knowledge of and experience applying common usability heuristics to improve user
experience and interface design
○ Clear understanding of best practices for interface strategies, online user experience,
and user interface design

○ Experience in using UX design best practices to design digital solutions
○ Solid understanding of information architecture, mastery of user interface design, and
strong visual design sensibility
○ Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
● General
○ Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into
concrete design implications
○ Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design
complete user experiences that meet business objectives and user needs

○ Good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to function well in a self-
directed, team-oriented environment

○ Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a team environment to deliver a quality
product while advocating for the user every step of the way
○ Expert problem-solving skills and creativity to find clear solutions that help users achieve
their business objectives
○ Have a passion for details, down to the pixel
○ Ability to determine and work at the right level of fidelity for a given situation
○ Comfortable communicating ideas, decisions, and reasoning clearly and confidently
○ Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize, and stay focused while rapidly iterating in
a cross-functional environment
○ Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and
prioritize work
