One of our B2C Retail/Delivery client is looking to hire a jr-mid level Copywriter/Editor for a 6 month to a year contract with intention to convert. This individual will be responsible for editing, rewriting and proofing copy for their SEO content efforts, along with some support for their CRM/email workstream as well as long form blog posts.

**This role is fully remote, however the working hours for this role are PST (Pacific Standard Time)**


  • Edit marketing copy for long form content for their brand, some editing experience is preferred, SEO skills, able to work independently with little oversight. 
  • Experience copywriting new content and re-writing content from third party vendors to align with brand guidelines.
  • The highest priority is their SEO workstream, which they plan on scaling to hundreds of short articles every week, the rest of the work is on blog posts and editing marketing copy.
  • The candidate in this role is expected to handle about 15-20+ edits per blog post per week on top of re-working the copy.
  • Ensure consistency of brand, voice, and tone across all copy.


  • 2-4 years max of proofreading experience, 2+ years of editing experience for a B2B or tech company would be ideal.
  • Excellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and editorial skills—you take your English very seriously and have great attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Experience editing copy on many deliverables—from web pages to blog posts to marketing campaigns.
  • An easygoing attitude and ability to provide a rationale for your edits. Creative acumen—you know how to edit copy to brand voice and tone.
