Overview

Effective delivery of communication solutions to clients. Maintain the business relationships with clients to maximize growth, retention and business value.

Working closely with the Senior Consultant and within project teams, collaboratively maintain and develop the client relationship by providing high quality advice, communication project management and world class project implementation. Help and support the development of other members of the team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/DELIVERABLES
Client Delivery:
• Accountable for the day-to-day quality, timeliness and overall standard of all project work produced for assigned clients.
• Ownership and coordination of client projects.
• Manage projects in line with our processes, to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Financial management – estimating and budget management.
• Tactical consulting and problem solving.
• Attend client meetings, conference calls and manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned clients.
• Maintain relationships with our suppliers – print management, estimates, POs, spot-checks.

Relationships:
• Build strong relationships that enable day-to-day account, project and stakeholder management and, ultimately, successful and effective project implementation.
• Provide a professional, high quality service to all clients, colleagues and other third parties.
• Proactively manage all stakeholder expectations (internal and external), always aiming to exceed those expectations where possible.
• Mitigate project conflicts by proactively seeking outcomes that are acceptable to all stakeholders.
• Build strong, collaborative and respectful relationships with our suppliers.

Administration:
• Weekly completion and distribution of client status reports during live projects.
• Completion and distribution of contact reports within 48hrs of a client meeting.
• Ensure all jobs have a statement of work approved by internal stakeholders and the client.
• Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time.
• Case study creation.
• Liaise with suppliers to chase invoices for the monthly invoicing process, where required.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
• Graduate or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.

Technical Knowledge
• Competent technical specialist in employee benefits, IC and/or compensation.
Experience
• Creative agency, marketing, retirement, consultancy or HR communication experience required.
• Project and client management experience required.
• Supplier and stakeholder management required.
Skills/other
• Service orientated: outstanding customer service, ability to translate client needs, demonstrates commerciality in their actions, management of expectations, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
• Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Core consulting skills in communication and project implementation, including: proactivity, questioning, listening and taking a collaborative/partnership approach with clients (not order-taking).
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation.
• Confidence to challenge and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders when required.
• Able to deal with change in a positive way.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills.
• Creative and technical copywriting and copy-editing.
• Experience of proofreading.
• Basic presentation preparation and delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
