The role of the Communications Coordinator is to support our Client’s communications and engagement initiatives to maximize the strategic goals of the company.

Provides administrative and project support for communications campaigns and assets including videos, photos, digital assets, websites, and more.

Assists in building brand awareness through broad-reaching community initiatives to support overall awareness, culture building, wellness, and staff and client engagement.

Performs office tasks such as creating and maintaining databases, analytics, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and other brand materials.

Additional duties as assigned to support communications and community building initiatives for the company.

This position will support the writing, editing, and/or acquiring content for websites, intranet sites, newsletters, and other online communications programs.
• Responsible for updating content on the web and intranet content management systems (CMS) and adhering to production deadlines for these updates.
• Provides writing, editing and research support for web & intranet projects, and other communication projects.
• Responsible for intranet maintenance, including uploading edited or new material directly to the site, and reviewing site content for relevancy and making necessary changes.
• Develops effective working relationships and maintains good communications internally and across the organization.

• Update and manage content for our intranet site and support updates:
o Achieve and maintain proficiency with required platforms (currently SharePoint).
o Understand basic page layout/graphic design principles that can be applied to our Intranet sites, broadcast emails, flyers, and more.
o Provide dashboards and weekly analytics to monitor and evaluate ongoing site needs and usage.
• Support initiatives designed to increase employee engagement and build a positive culture (i.e., employee recognition, social impact, wellness, staff development, etc.).
• Assist with communications project management (research, taking notes, updating work plans, tracking deliverables, etc.).
• Manage the following:
o Photography and other brand assets
o Mailing, logistics, and event support, as needed
o Promotional vendors, inventory, and fulfillment
• Submit invoices and track department spending.
• Support cross-department project needs (i.e., IT Optimization, Password Reset Process Improvement, SSO Comms, etc.)
o Proposes new article content and liaise with IT Support as needed to maintain current resources and support process and system changes.
• Create surveys to support our initiatives (i.e., internal engagement, soliciting feedback on new processes and client enhancements, registering for events, etc.).
• Provide presentation and creative asset support:
o Serves as the team’s PowerPoint guru, producing first drafts of slides and visually bringing concepts to life.
o Helps achieve clarity in presenting complex concepts.
o Updates as needed to reflect our brand and elevate the presentation.
o Maintains and updates brand templates and other staff resources (logos, guides, and creative assets).
• Participates in weekly content meetings and supports communications initiatives (i.e., wellness, virtual events, intranet, social media, editing, etc.).
• Assist in the uploading of finished video assets to YouTube, Vimeo, and other online resources.
• Compile and disseminate marketing information internally via Teams, the Intranet, and other communications channels.
• Assist with coordination between departments for social, wellness, and other company-wide in-person and virtual events.
• Submitting vendor invoices for internal process and approval, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Operations, Business Administration, or closely related field and 3-5 plus years of experience in the job offered.

• Experience developing education and outreach materials
• Design Skills with Photoshop, Illustrator a plus
• Unique knowledge and skills
o Strong MS office and Internet research skills (experience using SharePoint and PowerPoint, as well as creating and editing spreadsheets with formulas and manipulating data within reports to extract pertinent information)
o Excellent computer skills and experience using technology to organize assets
o Comfort with learning and applying new technologies
o Excellent customer service skills
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
o Strong copywriting/editing ability
o Demonstrated initiative
