Vitamin T's client is looking for a Software Engineer with tag management experience. This role will work on a team of Software Engineers to ensure the successful implementation of 1st and 3rd-party tags on the client's website.
OPPORTUNITY: Full-time, temp
DURATION: 6 months, with the potential to extend or convert
LOCATION: 100% remote, must be able to keep 9-5 East Coast hours
HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Implement 1st and 3rd party tags on the client's website through Adobe Launch or sometimes Google Tag Manager
- InnerSource code repositories to implement analytics tags for digital marketing tests. Integrate analytics results to feed Data Science and Machine Learning systems via APIs.
- Maintain current and future state architecture for tagging systems, aiming to increase performance of pages with tagging, documenting design patterns and best practices, and building solutions to scale tagging implementation.
- Streamline the overall tagging release process within vendor tagging tools and CICD pipelines of teams that run market tests via tags.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1+ years Tag Management Systems (Adobe Launch/DTM, Adobe Web SDK, Google Tag Manager, or Tealium)
- 3+ years in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Cloud, API integrations, Automated Testing and CICD Pipelines.
- Experience with web analytics (Adobe Analytics/SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics) and testing platforms (like Adobe Target)
- Experience with Third Party Tagging Pixels(Facebook/Meta, Google Global Tag)
- Basic knowledge of business analytics, statistics
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and remain flexible to pivot to highest priority work quickly if needed
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with a cross-functional team
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both associates and managers in cross-functional settings
- Ability to convey complex, technical subject matter in a clear and straightforward manner
- Ability to convey a professional and positive image
