Vitamin T's client - a leading automotive retailer - is looking for a Production Designer to join their in-house content marketing team. This role will focus primarily on sourcing effective imagery to accompany the client's digital articles and blog posts. If you're a designer with a strong eye for captivating imagery, this is the role for you!

  • OPPORTUNITY: 6-month temp assignment, with the potential to extend indefinitely
  • HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • LOCATION: 100% remote, must be able to work 9-5 East Coast hours

What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver intuitive and customer-centric visual solutions for the client's content with a primary focus on car review articles.
  • Source creative from stock agencies and in-house photographers, aligning to formats and specs for articles.
  • Interpret strategic direction and develop clear and consistent creative designs that support the objectives and goals for the client's content. 
  • Present your work in a compelling way to create support across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Partner with strategy, product, design, and developers to meet goals.
  • Promote SEO best practices throughout content development.
  • Collaborate with other creative teams on special projects.
  • Advocate for consistency across visual experiences.


Purpose of the role

Responsible for ensuring delivery of engaging visual storytelling content in a fast-paced environment, an ideal candidate will provide customers with useful imagery that instills confidence in the used car shopping journey. A successful candidate will bring strong creative ideas, understand and implement visual best practices, and have a track record of creating innovative and engaging content for readers through imagery. You work to create consistency in visual experiences across marketing efforts and push for the delightful and unexpected.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1-3 years of digital design and/or UX preferred in an agency or in-house creative department
  • Experience sourcing imagery from stock agencies and resizing for different formats.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Additional skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized; able to follow creative direction
  • Strong portfolio that includes produced work in content, marketing, and/or branding.
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities
  • Confidence working from creative and UX briefs
  • Work in team-based environment and independently
  • Skilled in the art of prioritizing and managing work
