We’re looking for an experienced UX Researcher (Quant/Qual) to join our Digital Experience team. Our mission is to design & deliver the optimal experience for a member or provider partner, applying modern design thinking principles & methodologies to deliver a simple, pleasant and frictionless experience. We believe in thinking beyond our category when it comes to defining a best-in-class digital experience, including in how we strategically explore emerging design & technology practices to determine how they might be leveraged to enhance member experience.

Fundamental components:

In service of this mission, the UX Researcher is responsible for identifying & executing research, from foundational/generative UX research to user & usability tests, in support of myriad digital initiatives across our client's enterprise web platforms, as well as forming effective & collaborative partnerships across marketing, product, design & technology teams. This role is embedded within dedicated, cross-functional Scrum teams supporting key web experiences that support the member, employer and provider journeys (prospect & existing).

You are at your best planning & leading research projects from soup to nuts: intake, plan, conduct, analyze, synthesize and report user research.

You bring a wealth of demonstrable research experience to the table, from
generative – e.g., ethnographic field studies, qualitative interviews, panel studies and surveys, literature / secondary research – to evaluative – e.g., user needs assessments, tree tests, card sorting, clickstream analysis, usability testing, etc.

You excel at designing & delivering clear and convincing research reports, translating key learnings & takeaways into strategic and tactical recommendations for colleagues and partners.

You can develop & maintain user personas and journey maps and continually use those assets to inform product roadmaps & design work.

You thrive in collaborative environments and fostering productive partnerships with colleagues in all sorts of roles and functions, and love evangelizing the benefits and tenets of user experience research.

Background experience:

You’re an adept expert in qualitative and quantitative UX Research methods.

You are highly motivated with a constant drive for learning & testing new and developing research and analytical methods.

You know how to use the tools of your trade to help evoke empathy for end users as well as trust with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders.

You have a never-ending passion for creating customer-centric experiences and staying abreast of the latest consumer trends, behaviors and preferences in design & technology.

You have experience with working with recruiters for studies, as well as employing online research tools, such as UserZoom or, etc.
