Senior Visual Designers with our client are eager to explore and understand human behavior while thinking both conceptually and systemically. They define Visual Design broadly and consider it to be synonymous with other industry-standard roles such as Graphic Design, Communication Design, User Interface (UI) Design, and Identity Design. 

As part of the Visual Design discipline you are constantly curious, and willing to collaborate across all disciplines. You feel comfortable designing in a range of environments. From executing on focused creative briefs, to translating more ambiguous research inputs into creative outcomes. Your desire to build beautiful things out of any set of ingredients is unequivocal. Common deliverables include (but are not limited to: digital product design, branding, future state visualizations, interactive presentations, physical installations, and traditional print artifacts.

As a Senior Visual Designer, you will:

  • Lead internal and client-facing design conversations, activities, and concepts
  • Present articulate and informed design solutions to clients and internal audiences
  • Actively self-manage to project budgets, scope, and timelines
  • Help coach and mentor more junior team members
  • Identify and champion internal team initiatives that improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of our work

As a Member of the Visual Design Team you will:

  • Exhibit expertise in visual design
  • Translate research and insights into compelling design solutions 
  • Create flexible design systems that can be activated across a variety of channels and touchpoints
  • Craft intuitive and impactful user interfaces for digital products
  • Help develop stories with key communication objectives for client deliverables
  • Contribute to user research efforts both in-field and virtual
  • Strong understanding and appreciation for using research inputs to drive design solutions
  • Mentor and lead more junior team members within the discipline


  • Minimum of four years work experience, preferably within a design firm or digital agency
  • Work effectively in design tools such as Creative Cloud, Figma, and Sketch as well as rapid prototyping tools like InVision
  • Show proficiency in business communication platforms such as Keynote, Google Docs, and PowerPoint

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in motion graphics
  • Experience in environmental design
  • Experience in video and video editing
