Vitamin T is looking to hire a UX designer for one of our agency clients. The role is fully remote and the UX designer is responsible for designing strategic, engaging, user-centric designs for enterprise-level websites, web applications, and digital campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Information Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related discipline.
- At least 5+ years of experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy a must
- Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for large clients and complex projects
- Ability to deliver within project schedule timeframe and budget
- Excellent professional ethics, accountability, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong emotional intelligence, friendly, adaptable, collaborative, critical, receptive, and hardworking
- Excellent knowledge/use of Sketch, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite; Basic HTML/CSS a plus
Responsibilities/Priorities:
- UX and UI/Visual Design for responsive websites and web applications
- Design user-friendly web forms and create form field requirements
- Strong use of grid design systems, mobile-first approach, and other best practices for web design
- Strong analytical skills to understand and translate business requirements to system UI/UX requirements
- Creative, innovative, artistic, and passionate about following the latest and emerging UI/UX trends
- Deliver within planning boundaries of the project: time, budget, schedule, business, and branding requirements
- Work in great collaboration with the team as well as independently and efficiently when needed -- in a high-standard, fast-paced environment
- Create graphical elements such as banners, icons, and interactive UI elements/widgets
- Find and retouch stock photos that complement client brand styles and requirements.
- Asset production and breakpoint mock-ups for hand-off to the development team
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business situations; including speaking fluently with developers and be able to effectively present ideas to team and clients
- Demonstrated understanding of web standards and accessible design (508 compliance) (ADA nice to have/ not absolute requirement)
- Help provide testing and quality assurance of websites and web pages with a keen eye toward details
- Create design-related documentation including personas, journey maps, style specifications, style guidelines (persona and journey maps a nice to have / not absolute requirement)
