Establish a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content. Work with product and engineering teams to implement appropriate CMS.
Manage a robust content calendar that includes all external communications, content, timing and ownership across functional teams. In addition, execute ongoing content audits and optimize strategic touchpoints accordingly.
Evangelize content strategy and insights throughout the organization. Develop and implement creative assets and best practices to ensure content is consistently and effectively positioned across all channels and touch points.

Ensure SEO strategies all well developed, content is optimized, and rankings are consistently analyzed to ensure maximum efficiencies and impact.
Leverage analytical insights to determine the optimal allocation of marketing resources across various collateral types and channels in support of strategic content priorities.
Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Partner with owners of specific content to revise and measure related marketing goals.
Continuously maintain and build an intimate level of knowledge of different portfolio personas and what motivates them. Map content needs and marketing strategies to each portfolio persona.
Produce compelling storytelling across written, audio, and visual media.
Showcase best practices by producing content in multimedia formats (e.g. videos, podcasts, article write-ups) featuring compelling stories from portfolio company CEOs, executive team leaders, key personnel, etc.
Build, lead and develop a high performing team to deliver results. Clearly communicate strategy, recommendations, and results to internal leadership. Influence decision-making across a matrixed organization
Monitor trends, issues, and topics that matter to Portfolio companies to create relevant insights
Lead and develop look, feel, and tone of voice of the candidate
Proven ability to balance long-term visioning with immediate needs
Drives best practices, continuous improvement and provides recommendations for content innovation
Bachelor’s degree in Design, English, Marketing, Communications or related field
7+ years’ experience with brand strategy, content strategy and content development
7+ years’ experience in brand marketing, advertising, marketing communications
Deep knowledge of SEO strategies and tactics
Expert knowledge of CMS platforms and solutions
Proven experience in developing, executing and managing content plan development to successful execution. Experience producing content across a range of formats e.g. written, visual, hybrid, live/event-based both on and offline.
Proven experience using narratives and storytelling to build strong loyalty for iconic or heritage consumer brands-- ideally with some experience in a B2B2C capacity.
Understanding of what it means to work in a regulated industry with preferred experience developing content and shepherding this content through a compliance process.
Strong results orientation, with a proven desire and ability to think strategically and creatively, coupled with financial acumen and strong analytical/problem-solving skills and bottom line P&L management.
