Job Description

Our growing client in metro Charlotte is looking for a Digital Content Resource Manager. Start asap after an interview process and background check. 

Will be mostly onsite, but there is flexibility of remote on occasion, after getting started for several weeks.

The team is open to either a Senior Manager level or AVP level.

Most important aspects are--

*Project Management expertise and organization

*Flexibility and adaptability in a changing, new system and team

*Finance experience strongly preferred

*Strong CMS experience, such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

*Content governance experience a must

o Align and assign resources for all approved projects, including freelance sourcing and management (i.e., onboarding, system training, invoicing) daily.
o Create and manage an efficient digital content production calendar (within the first 30 days) to size scope, groom, and schedule approved content projects, including maintaining and socializing the digital content production calendar.
o Organize digital content requests for timely ideation review and content project intake daily –
o Engineer and maintain the workflows of approved digital content projects based on content type within the initial 30 days.
o Facilitate administrator tasks in content lifecycle management systems (CMS, PM, etc.) and processes.
o Position themselves as the program manager for content creation lifecycle workflows.

o Act as the gatekeeper for digital team resources, ensuring all processes are followed when requesting and enlisting resources.
o Facilitates the transfer of all assets and information to various teams so that they have what is needed to deliver to assigned projects.
o Communicate with department leads to convey individual workload and capacity issues.
o Monitor financial burn rate on projects with defined budgetary restraints
o Continuously develop new and unique ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and velocity of the processes and systems that support the digital content lifecycle stages.
o Foster cross-functional teamwork and collaboration to set goals, solve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
o Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization
o Make clear and timely decisions by assessing situations to determine the importance, urgency, and associated risks-vs-reward.

o B.A. or B.S. in Digital Experience, Data Library Science, Information Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
o 2+ years of experience in content management, business process optimization, project management, or business resource management experience related role at a major consulting firm, financial services institution, large retailer, news outlet, or agency (or some combination of these experiences).
o Experience with content management systems, digital asset management systems, and analytics tools. Adobe Experience Manager, and Workfront Project Management Tools a plus.
o Experienced in planning, developing, and maintaining business process workflows.
o Ability to build productive and reciprocal relationships with business partners, content strategists, user experience designers, SEO specialists, and CMS teams to gain input and drive solutions that meet the needs of multiple partners.
o Demonstrates strong leadership, strategic and innovative thinking, and practical organizational planning skills.
o Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
o Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs. Proven multi-tasking skills, with an ability to meet critical deadlines.
o Comfortable working in a “start-up like,” fast-paced and fluid environment.
o Effective and persuasive communication and social skills.
o Is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CMS and Content Governance processes and tools (currently: AEM, WorkFront, DAM, SOLR Search, and Content HUB).
