Job Description

SUMMARY

The Marketing Content Writer will create compelling product descriptions, blog posts, white papers, social content, web copy, and more. The right fit will help our client expand their digital footprint and drive value through online and print material. You should have a proven track record of producing marketing content that increases engagement and drives leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to understand software products and marketing service offerings, their interdependencies, and the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines with compelling content — preference to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree, and relevant work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create content marketing campaigns to increase/nurture engagement and drive leads.
  • Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our website.
  • Routinely produce various content types, including email, social media, blogs, white papers, web copy, scripts, brochures, presentations.
  • Actively manage and promote our blog and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms.
  • Proofread and edit copy produced by other team members.
  • Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
  • Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • The ability to understand and effectively interpret technology solutions for a
  • non-technical audience
  • The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and maintain quality of work
  • At least three years of experience writing for a B2B audience
  • Experience using WordPress preferred
