Job Description

Our client is seeking a Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing strategic programs with cross-functional teams to generate new business opportunities and accelerate existing opportunities for the sales team. Working closely with the Territory Sales Directors, Inside Sales Representatives, Technology Partner Alliances, and the broader Marketing team, this position will drive execution of regional field events, programs and campaigns that advances the current sales pipeline as well as creates new sales pipeline.

  This role can be done remotely however travel is required 30% of the time. 


This position will serve as the primary liaison between the field sales teams in the west of North America and the broader marketing team. This role, reporting to the VP of WW Demand Generation, is responsible for creating demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, targeted field events, regional tradeshows, conferences and professional associations, and target account programs. This position will work closely with the marketing ops/digital team to maximize our digital marketing, direct mail and nurturing efforts in your territory. The primary objective is to introduce net new sales opportunities, move accounts through the sales pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle for prospects through the execution of marketing programs, as well as to ensure thorough coverage and penetration of the total addressable market leveraging various marketing distribution channels.



• Primary liaison between West Field Sales, Marketing Ops/Campaigns Team, Marketing team and regional Technology Partners

• Communicate feedback from the Field to the broader Marketing Team to ensure the Field has the tools and messaging they need to sell effectively

• Create a 6-month rolling plan for the regional sales teams

• Plan, create and execute all field marketing activities for the western region and report results

• Communicate marketing initiatives, ongoing campaigns, available tools, customer success stories, upcoming events, etc. to the regional sales team

• Establish a rhythm for field marketing planning and communication between sales and marketing for the western region

• Align with sales leadership to measure penetration of target accounts and measurement of sourced and influenced pipeline

• Share best-practices across the regions

• Assess challenges of the Field and create solutions to address those challenges

• Ability to identify effective marketing tools for Sales success

• Collaborate with the broader Partner Team to support local partner programs

• Travel up to 30%




• 5-7 years Field Marketing/Sales Support experience

• Proven experience working with enterprise & channel sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and new business; actual sales experience a plus

• Track record of B2B marketing experience at a technology company developing marketing campaigns in a contemporary demand-gen methodology

• Strong and dynamic communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and defend plans for strategic analysis, recommendations, and conclusions

• Oversee from inception to completion campaign plans including audience target identification, campaign project plans/deliverables/owners, budgeting, pre and post-campaign reporting/measurement

• Initiative, a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, and a "can do" attitude

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for enabling Sales Teams

• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce

• Enthusiasm for challenges and strong work ethic

• Budget Management Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or equivalent area of study
