As a production artist, you have a passion for detail, precision, and doing things right the first time.
What’s more, you have a designer’s eye and you apply this to projects large and small. Whether you are creating just the right layout solution for a templated brochure, resizing an ad, or creating a complex form from scratch, you understand the need for design consistency, and you have the patience to make it right. You are indispensable — delivering projects on time, supporting colleagues and clients alike!
Editing and updating marketing materials such as brochures, program books,
registration kits and related materials, forms and documents.
Creating charts, graphs, and other support materials
Customizing template materials for use by our advisors and their clients
Creatively solving for client design needs while maintaining the integrity of the templated piece
Creating complex forms that are integral to the business using the interactive features of
Handling standard logo additions and color changes
Managing shared graphics and file directories
Assisting and supporting a team of graphic designers and marketing colleagues
5+ years of experience in an in-house or agency production environment
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft
Office (Word, PPT)
Mac and PC expertise
Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Great typography and document construction skills; must be able to use templates and style
sheets (including GREP styles)
An understanding of design, layout, brand standards, and knowledge of 2-color and 4-color
Passionate about pixels and ink
A master juggler. Expect to work on multiple projects at the same time and can handle a high
volume of work
Precise and methodical—you QC your own work, it’s accurate and you work quickly.
Capable of working independently, once briefed on the project.
A team player —you work well with others on this large initiative.
Web knowledge a plus.
