Our luxury beauty client is looking for a strong midlevel copywriter to help tell the story behind their products. The copywriter will work on the Brand Voice team in close partnership with Marketing, Product Development, Product Marketing and Education to ensure that all copy aligns with brand voice and product positioning.
This position is temp-to-perm and is on-site 40 hrs/week in San Francisco.
Write collateral and product copy for product launches.
Own the product and education copy workflow and process.
Work cross-functionally to architect a cohesive, thematically consistent story about their collection.
Brainstorm and develop messaging about new and existing products to educate consumers, sales teams, press/editors and influencers.
Help develop and implement strategies and style guidelines for product naming, packaging, educatio,n and product marketing in offline and online channels.
Maintain a well-organized, thorough archive of approved product copy that other teams and markets may access easily and consistently.
Monitor competitors and present your learnings and recommendations with your team.
Liaise with Product Development, Regulatory and Proofreading to anticipate concerns and ensure copy is legally compliant and correct.
4-5 years of professional copywriting experience.
Online portfolio showcasing your experience writing product and marketing copy across channels, and your ability to think conceptually and for campaigns.
Beauty/luxury experience a plus but not required.
Experience writing for international audiences a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and working familiarity with G Suite also a plus.
