Job Description

Our fashion client is seeking a mid- to senior-level copywriter with an agency background to contribute to a fast-paced team of writers who are creating content across a variety of channels and special projects. This writer will have great chops for daily copywriting needs, but is versatile enough to concept and find creative solutions to complex problems. 

The ideal applicant will have agency and/or fashion copywriting experience, plus a background in pitching creative stories, conceptual thinking, and managing deadlines.

This role is 40 hours/week, onsite in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop narrative concepts for special projects and campaigns that come to life both online and off.
  • Bring complex stories to life in a clear, engaging and consistent way for a variety of marketing channels with the goal to cultivate emotional and long-term client relationships.
  • Run with creative briefs and brainstorming sessions, and collaborate on in-house/agency campaign work.
  • Produce copy that both inspires and educates.
  • Manage simultaneous projects with many moving parts.
  • Represent your work with a cross-functional team of partners.


  • 5+ years of experience in creative agency, brand, or marketing writing roles. Work experience in fashion a big plus.
  • Deep experience and knowledge in developing brand voice writing and campaign writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience initiating project and seeing ideas from inception to launch.


  • The ability to craft compelling copy in any format (scripts, headlines, video, etc.).
  • A portfolio of great creative work that shows your ability to work across a variety of channels.
  • Independence: can take a brief or idea and run with it, coming up with multiple solutions.
  • Strategic thinking with it comes to developing your writing ideas.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Current experience and knowledge of social media platforms and best practices, and up-to-date with cultural trends.
  • A good partner who can collaborate conceptually with other creatives.
  • Active learner.
  • Experience using Google Suite.
