  • Title: Marketing Coordinator
  • Assignment: Temp
  • Duration: 3 months with potential to extend or convert
  • Hours: 25-30 hours per week. Potential to expand to 40 hours per week. 
  • Location: Onsite in Richmond, VA 


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field and/or equivalent experience and education 

  • 2 years’  work experience in an account management or project management role in a creative marketing environment 

  • Previous experience working on an integrated marketing team in an agency or in-house marketing department

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative professional relationships 

  • Strong attention to detail with high regard to accuracy

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with frequent interruptions and maintain accuracy and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing practices and principles

  • Demonstrated knowledge of print and digital products 

  • Working knowledge of essential technology resources including the Microsoft Office Suite and Google’s equivalents 

  • Previous experience with project management software (Trello, Jira) is a PLUS

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices a PLUS



  • Build quality long-term relationships with partners

  • Ensure partner satisfaction through active listening, and proactive communication in order to ensure expectations are met or exceeded regarding quality, schedule and budget

  • Coordinate meetings with partners to present capabilities and services

  • Collaborate with team to write proposals to clearly and accurately describe deliverables

  • Coordinate and manage project details to fulfill marketing tactical plans

  • Write meeting summaries and status reports

  • Schedule and coordinate partner and team meetings and focus groups

  • Support team in building marketing presentations

  • Research marketing trends, communication channels, audience characteristics and provide competitive analysis

  • Serve as back-up to Senior Project Managers
