My client, an insurance company, with a fantastic culture, dynamic and with a family-run feel. The client is looking for a Marketing Executive who is more project focused. Projects incude governance and GDPR working across online and offline.
The Marketing Operations team provides support across all elements of the Global Marketing function. The Marketing Operations Change Manager will be the conduit for the Global Marketing team and project working groups, responsible for the smooth implementation of product and regulatory changes across relevant marketing processes, systems and communications (print and digital content). Our extensive suite of marketing content targets individual consumers, financial advisers, institutions, discretionary asset managers and commercial borrowers – and as such is targeted to each audience.
This role reports into the Marketing Operations Manager.
Collaborate with the Management Company Change Project team as the key Marketing lead to execute bespoke investor communications (mailings, emails) and audit regulatory and change impact across marketing
Coordinate the sign off process with key stakeholders in compliance, legal, channel marketing, and the wider business; ensuring collateral is up-to-date, accurate and adheres to brand and regulatory guidelines
Update and manage the accuracy and distribution of print and digital content, whilst seeking to leverage efforts across marketing teams globally
Brief and help manage our in-house design team’s workflow to update and produce printed marketing materials, presentations and other creative work
Brief and manage print and fulfillment suppliers
Ensure all materials and activities are compliant and aligned with the Treating Customers Fairly principles
Understand data and information classification rules and adhere to policy when dealing with personal and corporate sensitive information (for example GDPR policy)
The successful candidate will need:
Confidence and initiative to solve problems and work with the team to improve processes, systems, and marketing output – baring our culture values (kill complexity, care more, never rest and create legacy)
Two years or more experience in a professional services industry marketing role, ideally with project management skills
Excellent attention to detail, written, verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skills
Scheduling and organisation skills, with an ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to secure input and sign-off and manage expectations
Systems management skills – to create and manage projects, convert drafts to live jobs and sign-off proofs. Ideally, the candidate can quickly learn new systems.
Experience of briefing design agencies and print and fulfillment suppliers, with a good understanding of the design, print and production process
A digital understanding, with experience of how to brief content changes into web teams
Able to manage your own deadlines and prioritise work, as well as being a great team player and collaborator
An understanding of wider functions in the marketing team, e.g. digital, press, investment writers
Microsoft Office skills – primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint desirable
Up-to-date knowledge of investment markets and products
Understanding of regulatory knowledge and an understanding that marketing collateral must always be legally and ethically compliant in all channels/regions
Knowledge or experience using similar tools such as Documentum (our online auditing system), BrightTALK (our webinar supplier), Insite (to approve print proofs), Adobe Campaign (marketing email platform) and Adobe Experience Manager (our website content management tool)
A professional marketing or project management qualification
