Job Description

We're partnering with one of our favorite agency clients in downtown Dallas to help them find their next Jr Account Manager

  • LOCATION: downtown Dallas
  • DURATION: full-time/permanet, 40 hours per week (90 day temp-to-hire through Vitamin T)
  • HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
  • REQUIREMENTS: background and drug screening prior to start date

The Account Manager is responsible for maximizing client relationships and services for all accounts by serving as the primary point of contact for the client and as the internal liaison between the sales department and the resource teams. This position is the key owner of the post-sale client experience and the key overseer of campaign implementation and performance.

  • Oversees the daily management of assigned accounts
  • Executes regular touch points with clients at campaign inception and throughout the lifetime of the client relationship
  • Identifies up-sell opportunities within an account’s marketing strategy and collaborates with the Director of Client Services for presentation to the client
  • Retains client base through exemplary service and positive ROI for the client
  • Through the identification of new opportunities, grows average revenue per account (ARPA)
  • Utilizes proprietary data/research in order to support ETC’s value proposition in client recommendations
  • Evaluates new and existing products to determine the optimal fit for each account and makes recommended marketing changes as necessary
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with key contacts and team members in all functional areas
  • Coordinates and monitors the development of deliverables to ensure successful execution of the client’s recommendation, ensure exemplary quality, and adherence to all deadlines and milestones
  • Initiates and conducts both internal and external campaign kickoff meetings
  • Conducts regular campaign performance reviews with client
  • Receives, compiles, and presents campaign performance reports to client; makes recommendations as necessary
  • Stays abreast of client’s marketing needs — strategy, audience, objective, ROI expectations


Experience:

  • Previous experience in account management or similar role; coordination at an agency or media desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
  • Effective grammar, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to manage customer relationships
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under time pressures with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers
  • Ability to work with concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in various forms
  • Understands all aspects of the assigned client base
