Job Description

Our client is looking for a passionate Research Recruiter to build close relationships with product development, marketing, and care teams, acting as the main point of contact in accessing customers for customer empathy and research purposes.
This is not a sales position, nor HR recruiting. Our client works to connect producers of products with the people that use them.
The job requires working with product teams to understand what kinds of products they are building, figuring out who their target customer is, and finding that target customer so the team can build products that better meet the customer's needs.
Much of the time is spent on the phone with customers, getting to know them and scheduling them to come in and speak with engineers, product managers, researchers, marketing managers, support managers, and designers.
Our client works to enable empathy among producers and consumers, bringing them together so they can learn and grow.


  • Manage end to end recruiting for customers based on internal needs.
  • Build relationships with product, care, and marketing teams to understand their changing needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with fellow recruiters to develop and execute on creative and untraditional strategies for finding research participants.
  • Review, edit, and collaborate on screeners to target participant requests.
  • Screen and recruit research participants by phone, email, and other methods.
  • Manage compensation, participant and research scheduling, and NDAs.
  • Master research lab technologies, train new users, and provide technical backup support.


  • Passion for customer empathy people and research is core for this role!
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in some form of recruiting, pipeline building and sourcing– talent acquisition, research, design, research recruiting, or related fields.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, frequently changing environment while providing superior levels of customer service.
  • Solid project management, information organization, and multi-tasking skills. Must be proactive, take ownership, respond quickly, and have an eye for the details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Particularly, friendly and engaging phone demeanor.
  • Creative problem solver willing to experiment and try new ways of doing things.
