Analytics Manager – Marketing & Live Events

Based in Chiswick

Up to £55k doe + very competitve benefits package

Our client specialises in digital marketing and live events. They are looking for an Analytics Manager to setup and implement web tracking solutions and provide analytics based strategic insights and directions in the development of media & communications initiatives. You will be expected to provide and communicate effectively your insights and recommendations.

The right person will be a mix of data scientist with the hands-on skills in tracking, tagging, implementation and also be a web analytics expert.

Day to day responsibilties:


§ Work closely with key leads across the organization to understand reporting needs, new product requirements and business opportunities.

§ Providing analytic, integrated marketing solutions to improve client decision-making

§ Tracking marketplace, technology, and consumer demographic trends within and across multiple industries

§ Analyze Web site behavior using Web analytics tools to determine areas of site improvement

§ Designing and conducting analysis, interpreting results and synthesizing recommendations. § Uphold best standards practice in terms of data cleanliness, data management and tracking across websites including the new in-house web team developing the new website modular system which will be used by all event properties.

§ Create simple dashboards that visualize data and provide insights in a simple way to all levels of management

§ Be pro-active in suggesting and scoping improvements to ways of working, connecting data sources and providing solutions to improve the business within your areas of expertise. § Proficient in rolling out tracking solutions (Experience with Adobe tech stack preferred but not essential)

§ Assist the paid media managers in identifying trends within campaign by integrating channel data

§ Any other duties that are within scope of the role that may be required


Key skills required:


§Demonstrable/established experience in working in the Business Intelligence and analytics landscape.

§ Demonstrable experience of Digital Marketing, Online, Media or ecommerce.

§ Experience in using web analytics platforms and software packages such as Google Product Suite, Adobe Product Suite.

§ Some experience in analytics and reporting best practices (thorough understanding of standard analytics, report builder tools, and online analytics metric).

§ Knowledge of emerging trends and practices in customer intelligence and data warehouse fields.

§ Understanding of online advertising planning, buying and performance metrics is an advantage 3

§ Experience of working in an environment of Digital marketing, Online, Media or eCommerce experience.

§ Understanding of statistics, customer profiling and segmentation

§Ability and willingness to delve into the details as well as manage and assist with projects/initiatives.

§ Ability to understanding of statistics, customer profiling and segmentations.

§ Understanding of online advertising planning, buying and performance metrics is a plus

§ Willingness to build relationships with events teams to be able to establish new and improved ways of working using data

§ Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. § Able to work within a team environment, feel comfortable being involved in all aspects of digital marketing

§ A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand.

§ Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision.

§ Proficiency in Tableau, Data Studio, PowerBI, and Datorama is advantageous

§ Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

§ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

§ Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.

§ Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.


§ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, accounting or related field preferable
