Our client is looking for a SEO/Search Specialist with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a B2B eCommerce background with experience in website replatforming, including requirements gathering and website optimization.
Maintain and improve onsite, multi-faceted search to promote products with keywords in order to increase conversion on the website, using website behavior to automate and create personalized product search experience for our customers.
Strategically merchandise categories and products and improve onsite search effectiveness via customer analytics, testing and continuous process improvement.
Marry customer needs with category merchandising best practices and help define best in class customer/category online experiences.
Update and modify internal search tools in order to promote onsite search growth and visibility.
Understand category and product level behaviors in order to improve relevance of search results and merchandise effectively.
Create and execute onsite search merchandising activities that can be shared across multiple products/categories.
Manage Product Recommendations program and vendor relationship for best results and drive incremental sales.
Provide support for cross-functional teams to improve search quality online and implements SEO best practices with our websites. This individual will make necessary updates to rules, settings and improve processes for best search results.
Gather, develop, and coordinate product and web plans to implement search changes.
Engage with external vendors and internal customers for digital programs when necessary.
Support the development of Lawson and Kent website enhancements and bug fixes.
Plan, maintain, test, execute and communicate website search program performance.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings and digital marketing program calendar reviews.
Work closely with Data Analyst to identify trends in website search key metrics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in design or technology from a four-year college or university, plus a minimum of three years working in ecommerce with digital marketing experience, including SEO or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exposure and/or experience reporting on financial impacts of digital initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
Effective time-management skills, organized, proactive, and detailed oriented with a keen eye for quality control.
Ability to adhere to deadlines and accomplish goals in a timely manner.
Able to work independently, with little supervision.
Experience in B2B e-commerce, desired.
Familiarity with the Oracle/ATG or other e-commerce platforms, a plus.
Current with SEO, website search engine tools, marketing best practices and industry standards with a passion for technology.
