PPC Manager (Search Engine Marketing)

Full-time, Onsite

Temp-Perm (3-6 month temp)

$60-75K (paid hourly during temp period)


Our clients is looking for an experienced PPC Manager to provide an innovative, analytic approach to marketing strategy.. The PPC Manager will work under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and CEO. Best fit Candidates must thrive in a fast paced environment, possess strong organizational, problem solving, and adaptable management skills. We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing who will contribute to the start-up energy that's now in GROWTH mode and drive of a growing culture.

In this role you will:

• Develop, execute, and monitor initiatives to increase conversions, revenue and profitability from paid search

• Manage full funnel search marketing: strategy, structure, ads, bids, landing pages and reporting

• Conduct ongoing account optimization, including structure and targeting improvements (geo, demographic, audiences, day-parting, keyword and URL), search query mining, keyword expansion, negative keywords and improvement of bid management processes

• Analyze and use data to create testing hypotheses and make informed decisions across all dimensions of the account

• Collaborate with cross-functional growth team to achieve business OKR’s

• Conduct competitive analysis, prepare reports on findings and share the results with others

• Work closely with vendors to ensure appropriate support and to keep abreast of product releases and new available features

• Stay up to date on the latest search and industry trends


What you’ll bring:

• 3-5 years of experience executing and optimizing search marketing campaigns through keyword footprint, bidding, experience testing and targeting on Google and Bing

• Experience with running A/B split tests, calculating significance, tracking results, summarizing learnings and iterating into new ideas

• Advanced knowledge of SEM strategies, tactics and engine-specific functionality

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis. This includes familiarity with VLookups, Pivot tables, and other tools

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to leverage data to make intelligent, actionable business decisions

• Highly productive, self-sufficient and efficient with excellent time-management skills

• Google AdWords Certification & Bing Accreditation preferred

• RLSA, GTM and SQL experience a plus

• Startup and/or Agency experience preferred
