We are looking for an AdTech Specialist to support the international growth of our client's audiences and to develop new exciting products, we are unifying our core digital platforms, including CMS and adserving infrastructure.  

The ideal specialist will report to the Head of Commercial Platforms & Data Products and work closely with a wide set of international colleagues, including Engineers, Product Managers, Commercial Platforms Managers, and Commercial Strategy leaders, to design and execute customer-focused and technology-driven solutions.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining a high standard of integration with all ad tech platforms in use, as well as designing and promoting best practices in all teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 Champion the front-end performance of our websites using best practices, FE performance
tools, and monitoring
 Integrate well-documented processes, suitable for use by teams worldwide
 Follow the best practices of the Engineering teams including TDD, DevOps, pairing and
 Manage key internal relationships with development and PM teams to ensure smooth roll-out of new technologies to international teams
 Provide expert specialist knowledge to your colleagues in Engineering, Product and
Commercial Platforms, to support decision making at all levels
 Serve as the primary escalation point for technical troubleshooting across display, native, video, programmatic and branded content activities for multiple stakeholder groups within the
 Take a key role in deploying and optimising advertising technology integrations, including
core adserving platforms, delivery and optimisation software, audience targeting and header
bidding solutions. 

 You will remain involved from backlog to deployment and beyond

Essential Skills & Requirements:

 Experience working in a commercial environment, balancing priorities of operational efficiency
and revenue generation
 Highly proficient in the analysis of figures and understanding of KPIs
 International experience and foreign languages a plus
 A passion for digital advertising and publishing
 Confidence in communicating between multiple teams and different levels
 Know the web, including responsive web design, front end performance, caching strategies,
progressive enhancement, HTTP, and browser rendering engines
 Ability to analyze and extract information from a large dataset and interpret results from data to inform business decisions
 Highly numerate and analytical
 Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
 Experience working within programmatic advertising
 Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and rich media platforms such as Sizmek,
Celtra, Flashtalking
 Existing technical knowledge of ad technologies including core adservers (Google Ad
Manager), DMPs, SSPs, tag managers and web analytics  
 Knowledge of using DMP technology or a good understanding of a DMP capabilities
 Day to day experience of using adservers such as Google Ad Manager
