Our agency client is searching for a Social Media Specialst.
Create and execute day-to-day social and digital deliverables, including content creation and oversight as well as project and account management.
Work with team and account leads to develop social and digital strategies for a range of social and online channels.
Develop and execute social and digital strategies for a range of social and online channels. Help shape client content, stories, and messages, with the goal of integrating clients into the broader news cycle and trending social conversations.
Utilize social media analytics tools to monitor crisis situations, inform content, and guide strategy on audits.
Understand paid social and the role great content plays in a successful campaign. Work with paid social teams to provide best in class content to support paid initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the network to execute best in class social campaigns.
Provide community management services as needed for brands, especially in relation to real-time events.
2-4 years of experience; previous social media experience at an agency is a must and in-house/marketing experience is a plus. Time spent working in an “internal agency” in-house will also be considered.
Demonstrated hands-on social media execution (community management, strategy and content development, blog outreach, paid social executions) across all platforms and communication channels, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Excellent writing and editing skills, especially in creating content and managing social channels for brands on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will translate business and marketing objectives into creative and compelling copy.
Ability to ideate stories to tell a brand’s stories and see how that story can expand across communications channels.
Ability to absorb a high volume of information and be comfortable with providing quick counsel on editorial/response recommendations to clients.
Possesses passion about social media and speaking on behalf of a brand.
Experience with social media monitoring tools (NetBase, Crimson Hexagon, BrandWatch, etc.)
Experience with social media management systems/platforms is preferred (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)
Ability to show personality along with patience and a sense of humor.
Willingness to step up and be on, when necessary, even after others are off (…since social media doesn’t stop).
Energetic self-starter who has a sense of responsibility and the ability to work with a team or independently.
Provide a “yes and” attitude, bringing forth solutions when there are problems.
