Job Description

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical PM to join a Global Brand. This role is within the construction broadband space and they will be dealing with the build out of physical events spaces. There is a technical aspect to this role so some understanding of AV fit-out from event background would be good. The ideal candidate should understand different amps such as 6 or 32 their used and connectors. 

The project manager should have a history of being involved in a building program - familiar with a construction project - knowing what peoples roles are and is familiar with the waterfall program.  

The role

  • You will be involved in all aspects of service management and delivery for multiple projects.
  • Managing physical projects vs. digital..eg.. building an events space or studio. It could be anything related to a new build.
  • You will be scheduling for all full time, part time and freelance staff working on projects as well as coordination on hardware allocations
  • You'll be writing and maintaining project documentation.
  • You'll be evaluating and updating processes as required.
  • You'll be ensuring all operations have effective and regularly updated checklists, ensuring minimal risk during delivery.
  • You'll be ensuring that all on-site operations related to projects are delivered successfully.
  • You'll be maintaining budget tracking and capacity for the project, in coordination with department lead.
  • You'll be liaising with third party suppliers in the delivery of the project.
  • You'll be managing debrief and reporting processes on project, ensuring that all live operations issues are reported in a timely manner.
  • You'll be capturing and communicating commercial and development opportunities to the relevant internal teams. 

Do you have..

  • Strong knowledge of broadcast / production workflows?
  • Experience in the broadcast sector in terms understanding the process of a studio build?
  • Management experience both of technologies and personnel?
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development process, including QA?
  • Exceptional communication skills and excellent active listening skills?
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences - company wide, teams and senior stakeholders?
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills?
