The Production Artist role is responsible for developing production-ready packaging artwork for apparel, housewares, jewelry, accessories, and more!

A day in the life...

  • Ensure that artwork meets technical and quality standards for our brands and packaging suppliers
  • Adhere to our graphic standards and apply creative concepts to a wide variety of label and packaging programs
  • Partner with brand teams and packaging project managers to understand brief requirements and implement art revisions quickly and efficiently
  • Use your graphic design skills to assist design team with creative projects
  • Conduct market research for new products and packaging solutions
  • Assist with presentation materials by creating 3D mock-ups of labels and die lines
  • Review and approve packaging production samples from suppliers
  • Assess workload and priorities to make certain all tasks are completed on schedule
  • Organize files and creative assets per Creative Studio standards


You own this if you have...

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience creating digital, production-ready mechanicals for print
  • Packaging design experience and a familiarity with retail business
  • Strong graphic design skills + design portfolio showcasing work
  • An eye for type, layout and color with excellent attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pre-press and printing processes (CMYK, Flexography, trapping)
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite with a strong proficiency in Illustrator
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • An ability to meet tight deadlines and do quick turn around on edits/corrections
  • A positive attitude, and are always eager to learn about and improve processes
