Job Description

They are a very dynamic organization supporting design and construction projects and programs. We are actively searching for a Senior Graphic Designer. The primary focus of the Senior Graphic Designer role is to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet marketing and communications strategies from concept to completion.

• Design and production of graphics associated with marketing, public relations, and communications efforts, including:
▪ Proposals and qualifications, covers, dividers, etc.
▪ Charts, graphs, diagrams, infographics, and other communications graphics
▪ Presentation boards
▪ PowerPoint and other forms of interactive digital presentations
▪ Templates for project deliverables
▪ Design guidelines and standards
▪ Press kits, award submittals, exhibits, displays, and advertisements
▪ Video production and editing
▪ Digital marketing graphics (i.e. social media, e-blasts, blog, etc.)
▪ Evaluate, expand, and refresh brand from a graphics perspective
▪ Advance projects with minimal oversight
▪ Proactively source information, content, and direction from colleagues as necessary to complete a deadline
▪ Develop, design, and creatively solve complex design challenges for print, presentation, and digital
▪ Ensure quality control through approval of proofs, press checks, and testing of technology and
materials before deployment
▪ Review other designers’ and marketing personnel’s work to ensure high graphics quality
▪ Update design knowledge by participating in educational and professional opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in
professional organizations
▪ Maintain graphic assets for projects

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or related design
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of related professional experience
• Background in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management, project management, attention
to detail, and leadership skills
• Expertise in graphic tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
Premiere, etc.) and PowerPoint and other presentation programs; working knowledge of database programs (i.e. Cosential) is a plus

• Experience with HTML and CSS, and a working knowledge of WordPress is a plus
• Expertise in evolving technologies and software, printing procedures / techniques, color correction,
photography, and illustration
• Ability to create or refresh brands and identities; experience with branding impact and standards
• Ability to work quickly; respond to and prioritize multiple requests; be responsive to the time-critical
nature of deadlines
• Strong, creative conceptual graphic design skills
• Ability to research and distill technical and complex information into a clear and compelling
graphic message
• Ability to visualize and illustrate infographics that integrate type, color, and graphics
• Understanding of best practices for presentation graphics and materials usage
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, be self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to be focused, meticulous, and thorough, with strong attention to detail and
graphic consistency
• Ability to mentor junior designers and other marketing colleagues
• Exceptional presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A passion for design and storytelling

The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to travel to other offices and/or project locations as needed.

WORK HOURS: 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday.
