Performs continuous field market research to drive growth by understanding the market at an industry and account level.
Primary contact for Long-Term Care Sales Force for questions surrounding products (technical, new, demo requests, quality, pricing) and promotional campaigns.
Develops the Strategic Plan for the Long-Term Care division incorporating solutions from all areas of the business lead and support the implementation of key initiatives.
Engages and assists Marketing Managers in product launches, campaigns, and promotions.
Manage and develop Associate Marketing Managers, if applicable.
Works closely with the Long-Term Care sales organization to provide support on products, orders and marketing tools and resources.
Responsible for the Communication to the Long-Term Care division regarding updates on performance for all strategic initiatives, promotions, campaigns and Programs.
Works closely with their global marketing counterparts to ensure US marketing strategies are synergistic with global initiatives.
Manages the development of marketing materials and programs in support of the sales organization.
Assists Marketing Managers in product forecasting to enhance inventory management.
Manages and monitors revenue performance and promotion effectiveness.
Provides monthly financial matrixes (results) on marketing campaigns and sales performance against plan (Promotion results, scorecard on RFP) and campaign measurable (open rate, click rate, time spent, and resulting sales, sales leads gathered and status).
Attends various tradeshows, conventions, and conferences as requested.
Assists Marketing Managers and Training Department in the training of the Long-Term Care Sales Force
Assists with product training for existing and new sales professionals
Assists Long-Term Care Sales force in the submission of Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information
Travels with sales representatives quarterly to better understand the needs of customers and patients we service with our products.
Works flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior downstream marketing and/or strong sales experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong presentation skills accompanied with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to plan, set objectives, measure performance, provides direction and builds a culture of employee involvement at all levels.
Strong track record of leading, developing and executing projects.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and other database concepts.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (Master’s/Advanced degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of Marketing experience preferably in the Healthcare/Medical device industry.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a product management role with broad knowledge of the field with proven management skills.
