Job Description

Looking for job stability and a chance to grow? We're partnering with one with one of our favorite clients in downtown Dallas to help them find their next Marketing Communications Specialist. We're looking for candidates with experience in performance reporting for social and email marketing (50% analytical and 50% execution). 

  • Full-time (90-day temp-to-hire)
  • Monday - Friday (standard business hours)
  • Background and drug screen required prior to the start date

The Marketing Communications Specialist's primary responsibility is to write and edit marketing collateral and technical documentation. The Marketing Communications Specialist is able to create easy to read documents, execute on strategic initiatives, and research and coordinate projects. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be punctual and results-oriented when completing assigned projects and will take the initiative to accomplish immediate goals and have an eager ambition for continual learning.

Essential Functions

  • Content creation - Create, edit, deliver and optimize marketing materials
  • Drafting and writing - Create outlines and text for all marketing collateral.
  • Consistency of brand - Ensure brand messages are consistent with marketing strategies
  • Basic understanding of multiple facets of marketing - Be able to contribute on social media, print, and digital marketing concepts
  • Reporting capability - Produce thoughtful reports on varying initiatives

Job Specifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in marketing or similar role; coordination at an agency or media entity desirable
  • College degree required
  • Skills: Strong track record of marketing communications success, with exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated capability of simplifying the complex
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems and overcome obstacles
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to research and apply findings
  • Ability to execute and follow-through
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under time pressures with a sense of urgency
