Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Media Strategist with a great agency west of Milwaukee. As a Media and Digital Strategist you will help solve problems for dynamic clients ranging from scrappy start-ups to global brands. This is a part-time, on-going opportunity. There is remote flexiblity as well!


  • Work collaboratively with all departments, including client service, creative, public relations, production and accounting teams
  • Understand client businesses to incorporate the right media mix on their respective goals, platforms and levels of sophistication
  • Assist in developing and executing current media schedules from start to finish, including rep outreach, rate and value-add negotiations, and evaluating new opportunities and trends across all media (print, radio, television, digital, mobile, social, emerging, etc.)
  • Build and implement digital strategies, including conducting audits of all online properties, gathering research and insights and developing recommendations based on agreed-upon goals
  • Establish metrics and build digital dashboards for ongoing plan performance review, reporting and campaign optimization
  • Manage marketing automation efforts for clients and agency
  • Develop/assist in client presentations
  • Stay current on digital tools and best practices
  • Work in social media management platforms; create and manage campaigns for Google Ads


  • Digital experience is a must, including working with marketing automation, social media and analytics platforms
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience, agency experience preferred
  • Passion for advertising, strategy, leading, and experience in traditional, non-traditional and digital media
  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords certifications preferred
  • Ability to work with both traditional and new media
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel®, PowerPoint® and Outlook® Skills
  • Experience with food, foodservice and/or agriculture clients, nice to have
  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
  • BA/BS Degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising
