Job Description

A fashion client in NYC is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for a 9 month freelance role

Responsibilities: 
Support overall development of the strategy for public promotions and customer acquisition. Work with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life, as well as continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing initiatives in order to drive our omnichannel business.
• Support development and management of omnichannel promotional calendar and work with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize based on business needs, competition and analytics
• Structure, perform and interpret data analysis to continually improve promotional cadence and strategy
• Assist with execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring creative assets and media plans across all channels support the strategy and bring the campaign vision to life
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to garner alignment around promotional strategy and execution; assist in developing materials for meetings as well as managing the necessary communications and information requests
• Recommend and advocate for testing, solutions, new ideas, etc. to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of our promotional marketing strategy

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in a retail environment across multiple channels and with a strong understanding of consumers in the space, and/or prior experience in strategic planning, management consulting, financial analysis, CRM / marketing analytics or related role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills; ability to structure analysis to answer ambiguous questions and tailor presentations to various audiences
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to think outside the box
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build great working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners
• Resourceful self-starter and solution-seeker who demonstrates a high level of initiative and intellectual curiosity
• Proven ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently
• Open-minded and fast learner who responds enthusiastically to change and opportunity, and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changing business needs
• Enjoys high-level strategic thinking but also a team player who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to ensure flawless execution
• Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Solid understanding of customer needs and willingness to always place the customer first (both internal and external)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools
