Job Description

Vitamin T's client is seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in leading a creative team in the support of one of the most successful commercial brokerage teams in the USA. The Graphic Designer will develop concepts and see designs through to completion. 

The applicant must have a strong understanding of the graphic design tools and standards along with strong aesthetic sensibilities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while keeping organized and maintaining the highest standard of design quality in all work. Photography skills are a plus!

  • Title: Graphic Designer
  • Location: Onsite in McLean, VA (Silver Line accessible)
  • Duration: 3 months

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the Creative Manager.
  • Design and lay out a variety of print and online materials, such as flyers, brochures, marketing boards, direct mail pieces, PowerPoint presentations, event materials and eblasts.
  • Conceptualize and illustrate graphics including logos, icons and vector illustrations.
  • Prepare files for proofs, print and final outputs.
  • Print, collate and bind presentation books.
  • Assist with all aspects of event planning such as developing themes and managing vendors.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintaining best practices.
  • Assist with general administrative and operational duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' professional experience in an agency or in-house marketing position
  • Proficient use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Excellent design skills and creativity with awareness of new design trends and emerging technology.
  • Knowledge of file resolution, sizes and types, as well as some knowledge of pre-press and print production.
  • Highly organized, motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent grammatical, spelling and proofreading abilities.
