Job Description

We're partnering with one of our favorite agency clients to help them find their next Marketing Communications Manager.  Ideally we're looking for an agency copywriter will traditional marcom strategy and concepting experience. 

  • Must be able to work onsite (downtown Dallas
  • Standard business hours (Monday - Friday)
  • 90 day temp to hire through Vitamin T
  • Background and drug screening required prior to start date

Responsibilities: 

  • Creates, implements, and oversees marketing campaigns and channel communications that effectively describe and promote the client’s brand and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products.
  • Manages the research and development of content for all client touch points. Creates informative and timely content.
  • Manages information dissemination. Oversees the preparation of presentations and/or quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
  • Creating and implementing plans to increase market share
  • Commissioning or conducting market research
  • Overseeing market data analysis and evaluation
  • Developing pricing and budgeting strategies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from creative, development and digital marketing
  • Coordinating with and managing agency partners
  • Creating marketing presentations for stakeholders and clients
  • Obtaining necessary consent and providing final approval on all marketing collateral, products and promotions
  • Developing schedules and maintaining deadlines
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Note: The marketing communications manager might also be heavily involved with projects relating to search engine optimization, website updates, social media and email automation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing or similar role; coordination at an agency or media entity desirable
  • 2-year college degree required
  • Skills: Strong track record of marketing communications success, with exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated capability of simplifying the complex
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems and overcome obstacles
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to research and apply findings
  • Ability to execute and follow through
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under time pressures with a sense of urgency
  • Understands the customer and adjusts communication accordingly
  • Shows a passion for the product and market place
