Job Description

SUMMARY

Our agency client is looking for someone with client-facing experience in media —someone who has worked with paid search (Google and Bing) and paid social (Facebook and Instagram). You do not need agency experience per se, but solid experience leading clients, providing strategic media recommendations and the ability to present with confidence. You should have experience leading people but not necessarily having direct reports — this will inevitably be part of the role at some point. This is an opportunity with a lot of potential to grow within an agency environment — with great benefits and a ton of flexiblity!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a strategic partner participating in Lead Team Meetings and Off-Sites to proactively identify operational issues and seek solutions for agency growth
  • Provide invested coaching and leadership to the Digital Media team, instill company values and scale employee development
  • Delegate projects/tasks accordingly while managing operational risks to ensure workload is appropriate and employee engagement remains high
  • Take ownership of the health of client accounts, maximize client retention and satisfaction by implementing best practices and processes
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day management and training for all Digital Media team members and interns
  • Foster innovation and continuously monitor changes in the digital world to ensure we are always ahead of the curve in our knowledge and capabilities
  • Ensure consistent revenue growth for the Digital Media team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years experience with a digital marketing agency or comparable workplace
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Media expertise and the ability to take a holistic view of channels, attribution, and to strategize with other team members
  • Strong communicative abilities for working with upper management, direct reports, and clients
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to create and lead execution of both digital strategies and business strategies
  • Constant pursuit of growth and learning through classes, webinars, podcasts, books, and more
