Job Description

Role: Senior User Experience Researcher

Duration: 12 months Contract 

Location: Central London 

 

One client is a leading, well known platform within the leisure and Tourism industry. The are looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to join their exciting and driven team on a 12 months contract.

Responsiblities

  • You will be defining and consolidate qualitative and quantitative research, including lab-based usability studies, remote studies, field studies, surveys, to provide insights on requirements definition, content strategy, wireframes, visual and interaction design
  • Work closely with the Product team and other stakeholders to clearly define and prioritise user research questions, then outline and schedule research plans
  • Identify and recommend the best methods to answer UX product research questions and prioritize them according to schedule and opportunity constraints
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the user experience and better serve business needs using research
  • Be accountable for running and ensuring quality of user research within your area of focus
  • Manage and oversee vendor-based research projects and relationships
  • Consolidate research findings, often from multiple sources, into a short, concise, actionable story for stakeholders and product teams
  • Describe and present your methods, design explorations, and trade-off rationale along with a recommendation to peers, team partners, business stakeholders and UX leadership
  • Estimate work effort and define needed deliverables

You will have;

  • Excellent research skills with a record of delivering insights that influence product and design decisions
  • Experience communicating and presenting to stakeholders. 
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills
  • Solid project management skills and are able to strike the balance between being agile and applying rigor
  • Self-awareness and strive to be your best self while finding common ground and building rapport with your peers
