Job Description

UX ENGINEER - NEEDED!!! - 12month Duration - GLOBAL CLIENT 

Our client is a leading company within the tech industry who is looking to recruit a UX Engineer on a 12 month contract. The ideal person will be using effective design aesthetic and technical know-how to develop the user model and user interface wearable and mobile experiences.  

This person must be adaptable and excited by the challenge to design and prototype for wearable UI’s with varying hardware and software constraints.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be working closely with interaction, motion designers and researchers to explore novel interactions and build testable prototypes for usability studies.
  • Work with engineers to set the bar for polish and animation quality and assist with final production implementation.
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

You will ideally have;

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience as UX Engineer or Proven work experience as a UX & UI specialist
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics
  • Front-end development skills - JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, React (someone that can work with software engineers and motion designers to test out experiences)
