Our agency client is looking for a go-to resource for episodic market research. This research will be used for proposals and pitches on behalf of the agency itself, its clients, and to support new business. Projects come in spurts and usually last 30-90 days. Throughout the project, there will be 1-3 onsite meetings and the rest of the work can be done remote. Becuase of meetings, ALL applicants must be local. When it comes to software, this client uses Microsoft Office 365; Excel master is critical; Adobe; PowerPoint.
The client does majority B2B work and involves technology- based businesses. For our publicity research studies, the audience is journalists. Our
clients are typically marketers and communicators at the manager level and above. The point of the research will be to generate insights to help inform decision making; data to support news story placements; insights and strategies to support content in the form of white papers, points of view, lead generation campaigns; benchmarking to measure client programs; competitive and industry insights to inform differentiation strategies.
Research studies should result in a comprehensive result, including summary, key takeaways, specific findings, and the full raw data as back up. Usually in the form of PowerPoint slides.
