Job Description

My client is an Accounting Software Fintech Start-Up, who have established their name in the industry. They are looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team for a 24 month contract, paying up to £330/day.


Top 3 Attributes:

  1. Corporate Writing skills. Someone that has worked in internal communications for a corporate company, or who could have been a journalist for a tech hub. Someone with experience from a PR agency and wants to move into corporate. They should know how to write an email and other scrips for communication (i.e. video etc.) 
  2. Strategic mindset. The ability to look at at a situation and ensure everything is on track. Define roadmap and what key performance indicators.
  3. Proactive 


1. Internal Communications

  • Collaborates with business partners to develop messages that resonate across lines of business and with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Proactively creates, edits and distributes internal company news
  • Owns high-impact internal projects of submissions to speaking slots and company ranking & awards
  • Assists with internal branding and internal events management


2. External Communications

  • Talent Acquisition – Work with the TA/TM team to support hiring programs.
  • Manage career queries on social media platforms and guide information requesters to the right platforms/teams.
  • Industry conferences – Provide support to employees speaking at external conferences
  • Manage corporate social channels and maintains social media editorial calendar
  • Online reputation management – monitor online conversations around the brand and manage brand reputation.
  • Trend watch – Continuously monitoring the online space to identify new trends and adapt them to stay relevant and fresh. 

Required Skills :

  • Internet Savvy that enjoys being able to measure every action
  • A creative thinker with a Can-do mindset and passion for the work
  • Detail oriented with very high executions standards
  • Two to four years' experience in marketing and digital content creation.
  • Ability to manage programs with multiple components, and align internal and external resources to achieve results.
  • Forward thinking, proactive and the ability to work independently.
  • High level of confidentiality and judgement required due to sensitive data access
