The ideal candidate will be experienced in data-driven SEO strategies, user testing, and possess a deep knowledge of all the
functional areas of SEO (technical, content, local). Success in this role will lead to increased traffic and
conversion, resulting in increased revenue that contributes to the company’s financial targets.
The SEO manager has ownership of an individual web property, and will work with multiple internal SEO
teams across technical, content, local SEO, and editorial. You will provide leadership and strategy for the
direction of a web property, as well as being a collaborative partner to the overall team. You will always
be striving to stay ahead of trends in search while identifying and forecasting future growth opportunities,
working within and across departments to develop business plans for emerging search opportunities. As
the SEO leader, you will establish standards and procedures that evaluate and hold accountable high-
quality standards in SEO.
Responsible for executing SEO strategies that provide for long-term success while achieving
company financial goals. Develop a deep understanding of the senior living marketplace and
how search plays a role in the decision-making process.
Work cross-functionally with internal team and external SEO agencies to drive improvements to
SEO traffic and transactions, resulting in increased revenue and improved conversion rate.
Work with internal team to take on content development, backlinking, technical SEO
improvements, and outreach activities that drive incremental traffic volume and leads.
Lead comprehensive SEO audits that drive business metrics in a meaningful way to impact
conversion and revenue.
Be a mentor and leader to increase knowledge sharing across the team.
Work with product teams to implement conversion optimization testing and prioritize iterative
improvements to web properties that improve on-page conversion rates and increase the quality
Lead SEO initiatives that address the user intent on search results and help users move
further down the funnel in their search for a senior living option, leading to increased
engagement and conversion.
Improve organic visibility across SERPs and their products such as local, knowledge graph, and
Continuously improve SEO skillsets, staying up to date with shifts in the marketplace.
Ability to perform keyword research, write optimized HTML tags, provide recommendations on
internal linking, content promotion, content creation and implementation of schema mark-up.
Utilize tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Google Webmaster tools
and others to perform analysis.
Analyze performance data and implement optimizations to increase ROI of campaigns.
Responsible for compiling SEO recommendations and analyzing deliverables and results to

Own reporting and optimization for web property, driving success metrics in an iterative process.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s Degree preferred)
A minimum of 5 years of SEO experience across full marketing funnel and lifecycle
Enthusiasm for understanding the evolving best practices with regard to the technical aspects
of crawling, indexing, ranking and driving qualified organic traffic.
Experience with keyword research, information architecture, search engine algorithms and
Working knowledge of structured data schemas and rich snippets. Understanding of internal
linking, keyword usage and semantic analysis.
Experience with site scrawlers and log file analysis.
Experience with a wide variety of SEO tools from among SEMRush, OnCrawl, Botify,
Conductor, BrightEdge, SearchMetrics, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog, AWR,
DeepCrawl, Search Console, Bing WebMaster Tools.
Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar web analytics products, Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated understanding of mobile, video, local SEO.
Experience developing and delivering executive level presentations on SEO strategies, plans
