Job Description

Vitamin T's agency client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Richmond. 

  • Title: Account Manager
  • Opportunity: Temp-to-Perm, scheduled to convert after 90 days
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location: Mix of onsite in Richmond, VA with flexibility to work remotely from home


  • Serve as primary client contact and be accountable for client relationships for existing, potential, and new accounts.
  • Act as "voice of the consumer" to ensure strategy aligns with end-consumer needs
  • Partner with the Creative Director to align creative resources and determine skillsets needed to drive desired business results.
  • Contributes to the development of RFPs and new business pitches to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with the Traffic Coordinator to assign resources to clients and deliverables, plan and negotiate schedules, and ensure timelines are communicated, agreed upon, and met. 
  • Create marketing strategies based on customer insights, psychographics, segment preferences, attitudes and behaviors.
  • Responsible for identifying marketing insights, revenue opportunities, enhanced customer experience, market and affinity partnerships (where applicable), and cost savings.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of campaign launches including brief writing, consulting with client, and serving as a liaison and partner with the creative team.
  • When data and analytics are available, deliver ongoing reports to coordinate and share performance across all digital and/or print media channels.
  • Review outcomes of completed campaigns and marketing efforts to assess effectiveness with


  • 7+ years' experience in account management in an ad agency or in-house marketing role
  • Previous experience managing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, and digital
  • Prior experience serving as primary point of contact with clients, as well as the strategic lead within the account team
  • Capable of building and enforcing timelines for project execution
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with all agency departments.
