About this Position:
The client is working to disrupt the lighting industry with breakthrough technology to make beautiful light. This story is best told to our design-centric audience through premium visual content and “see it to believe it” experiences. The position is a critical member of the team that is crafting, developing and communicating the story to the market. The client is a luxury lighting brand, and all marketing assets need to meet the same standard.
Design beautiful and effective solutions that engage the target audience, for both internal and external focused applications
Implement brand guidelines and standards to align content through all phases of project delivery in physical and digital media
Visualize data and tell stories through graphic assets such as infographics
Assume lead roles on multiple projects to fulfill critical delivery deadlines.
Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill deliverables on projects such as: digital asset creation, social story-telling, sales presentations, brochures, etc.
As a member of the marketing team, shape and execute our creative vision to fully align our objectives, strategies, and brand guidelines
Actively contribute to ideation activities to develop content strategy and new ways to help people experience the transformative power of light
Conceptualize and execute brand expressions for packaging, web, trade show and showroom contexts
Ensure a cohesive user experience across all brand touch points and provide the right content at the right time to users throughout their customer journey
At least 3 years of experience as a graphic designer in a creative team environment
Strong portfolio of work samples across various media (physical, digital, interactive, etc.), featuring excellent design, color and typographic skills
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
Understanding of user centered design and research methods
Proficient in design software (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience with video editing and animation tools
An exacting attention to detail and strong collaboration traits
Experience designing for residential or luxury products is a plus
