I am currently recruiting for an Insight & Analytics Manager for a multinational retailer with offices based in Watford.
The Insight & Analytics Manager will:
Provide accurate and timely management information
Focus on understanding online customer behaviour and engagement through the use of website and customer data and
Support business development with insightful analysis and recommendations across the e-commerce function.
The role is pivotal in driving performance across the Ecommerce business, ensuring expert analysis of actual customer interaction with the website and facilitating understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are impacting overall online performance against target.
The main areas of focus will be customer behaviour as understood through customers’ interaction with the website, focusing on factors such as size availability, freshness, variety and mix of product, and their impact on the customer journey.
Use data-driven insight to deliver improved online customer engagement through
the use of onsite behavioural data
Identify pinch points and key areas for optimisation along the online customer
Keep updated with leading market practices to integrate into future roadmap
development and inform online strategy
Work alongside Marketing Analytics team to refine, develop and report on online
customer segmentations in order to deliver insight and inform the online
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computation,
Economics, Business or Finance
Strong experience of Google Analytics – including setting up filters, segments,
goals and dashboards (and/or other website analytics systems)
Highly numerate with a high standard of accuracy with data and commercial
awareness of its usage
Innate curiosity about consumer behaviour and ability to derive insights from
complex data sets to recommend improvements to business
