Job Description

Vitamin T is partnering with a client in Chicago to find a direct hire Senior Marketing Analyst. The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing all marketing activities, developing a deep understanding of our target consumer and leveraging those insights to influence our overall marketing strategy. This role requires an analytic thinker who is comfortable pulling data from disparate data sources to uncover opportunities that improve the performance of our marketing efforts.


  • Contribute to integrated marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting on performance of online marketing channels including website, blog, email / lead nurturing, social media, organic search, and paid search
  • Develop strong hypotheses, independently solve problems, and uncover business insights and opportunities across marketing channels to drive growth
  • Analyze the performance and profitability of marketing efforts at the channel, tactic and segment level to optimize spend and performance
  • Extract and integrate data from various sources and provide insight to understand audiences and behaviors
  • Create and develop smart, compelling reports that track KPIs and provide actionable recommendations
  • Provide support in managing and interpreting data from a response attribution model
  • Support primary and secondary research on brand health and campaign effectiveness
  • Operate seamlessly between being a business-savvy internal consultant and a highly technical analyst, with the ability to clearly communicate insights to senior leadership
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • BS Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Analytics or a quantitative professional designation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with databases, reporting on data and working in an analytical capacity
  • 2+ years of in digital marketing experience required
  • MS SQL programming to support analytic projects and dashboards
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and CRM solutions (SalesForce) is required
  • Experience analyzing paid media metrics is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and excel with little guidance and supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills including proficiency pivot tables, reports, graphs, and more
