Job Description

We have a client that is seeking a freelance Web Designer for 2-3 weeks. On-site is preferred but flexible for the right candidate. The projects that they need help with are mobile wireframing and prototyping, web content edits, building new landing pages based on existing templates, web parts, and style guides. Light Photoshop is also required when creating and optimizing web images. BONUS if you have email coding (mainly on the level to troubleshoot, not from scratch) because our client is redesigning all of their email templates. 3-5 years experience. This role reports to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities 
• Make daily and weekly web content edits to two corporate sites
• Build new landing pages while adhering to corporate style guides 
• Create desktop and mobile wireframes and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas 
• Work closely with Sr. Web Designer to ensure all implemented designs align with intended user experience 
• Image manipulation for web optimization 


Qualifications 
• Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency 
• 3-5 years of web design proven experience 
• Knowledge in web design technologies 
• Proficient in Content Management Systems 
• Advanced skills in Adobe CC 
• Experience collaborating with teams via project management tools such as Wrike, Jira, etc. 
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices 
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design and technical competency 


Soft Skills 
• Deep understanding of current design trends and technologies 
• Demonstrate strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, impact user experience
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to quickly learn established team collaboration processes 
• Aptitude to foster cross-organization collaboration to reach project goals 
• Solid communication, documentation, and organization skills 
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a fluid, fast-paced, and agile environment 
• High level of initiative, good sense of humor, and a “make it work” ethos 

Non-Required but Useful 
• Previous experience with user interface design programs such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision, etc. 
• Previous collaboration experience with Product and Marketing teams 
• Previous experience with Marketo or similar Marketing Automation Tool
