Our client in the car share industry is looking for a Senior Growth Marketer with experience in mobile. This company is an innovative venture positioned at the intersecting trends of mobility, collaborative consumption, and sustainability.
This is a 1-month role with potential to extend or convert, full time (40 hrs/wk) on-site in Downtown Berkeley (BART accessible!)
As Sr. Growth Marketer you will be responsible for driving Member acquisition by scaling and leading our next phase of profitable growth. Our ideal candidate has a proven ability to grow critical KPI’s such as app store views, downloads, enrollments, trials and repeat usage. You should possess an analytical mindset and profit orientation while thriving in an environment of fast testing, measuring, and iterating in pursuit of goals and objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead Generation & Member Acquisition: Drive consumer traffic to website, landing pages, and social media with the intent of optimizing & increasing conversion rates. Convert insights into action – see Member acquisition process through from ideation to execution. Develop and implement a robust Member engagement/retention strategy to effectively manage Member churn.
Growth Strategy, Execution & Optimization: Create and own a multi-channel, evolving growth strategy based on product needs: SEO/ASO, SEM, DSPs, social paid and community/influencer development, word of mouth, email marketing, push notifications, traditional, mobile native and web, programmatic display, etc. Design, launch and optimize campaigns across multiple online channels that meet financial and KPI objectives by getting our audience to take specific and measurable actions. Increase our reach, engagement and loyalty across all platforms. Uncover and leverage new emerging platforms to create new growth opportunities.
Test & Learn: A/B test new and unique ideas based on a deep understanding of data. You will be able to immediately see the impact of your work.
Analyze: Use analytical techniques to identify and unblock bottlenecks; define the KPIs and goals for success; analyzing Member data and users’ feedback.
What You’ve Done:
Growth Marketing & Hacking: You have been responsible for growth strategy, execution, and optimization for a few products or services and have the conversion metrics to show for it. You have a proven track record of success in scaling and automating growth processes through cross channel user acquisition and retention initiatives.
Strategic Planning and Future Visioning: You’ve developed and executed effective strategies as well as consumer visioning and led their deployment to accelerate e-commerce sales growth.
Data Analysis: You have strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting. Strength in strategic data interpretation and visual representation of data is required.
A/B Testing experience: You love to (A/B) test, know how your target audience moves, and how you can trigger and capture their attention.
Actionable Results: You are relentless in the pursuit of growth, and know how to win new business.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
5+ years’ experience in marketing — including 3+ in a direct-response/acquisition/audience role. MOBILE experience required!
Deep experience with using analytical tools and interpreting data to drive decisions and behavior. A/B Testing experience required!
Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA or Master’s a plus.
Strong track record of building growth hack programs that have measurable impact.
Transformational leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, an executive presence and a startup mindset.
