Job Description

Our client, a small film and music entertainment firm started by an Academy Award winning actor and musician, is looking for a Social Media Manager to manage two brands. Check out the description below!

The Social Media Manager will work on a small digital team responsible for the management and creation.

  • Define long-term digital and social marketing strategic goals and a roadmap of how to reach them
  • Strategize, develop, pitch and execute brand campaigns with clients and brand partners 
  • Create social and digital marketing timelines and content calendars 
  • Participate in asset creation and creative process including short-form video and photo editing
  • Upload and distribute content including videos, photos, and graphics 
  • Encourage conversation and build community within social media pages 
  • Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and guidance for future campaigns
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends 
  • Provide on-site support for client activities, including travel as needed 


  • 3-5 years of social media management and/or content creation experience, preferably at a marketing/creative agency, talent management company, or other entertainment industry adjacent organization 
  • Mastery of major social media platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat, Spotify, Apple Music 
  • Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills for social media. Must be able to provide samples of previous work 
  • Must be a quick learner, able to take the reins on a project with limited guidance 
  • Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh 
  • Experience organizing and leading photo and video shoots
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once 
  • Flexible schedule including ability (and eagerness) to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends 
  • Knowledge and interest in pop culture, and the next-generation of influencers, creators and other digital talent on Instagram and YouTube 
  • Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Docs 
  • Working knowledge of Premier, iMovie and/or other creative suites plus photography skills preferred
