Our client is a leading business information publisher/media business they specialise in events, magazines, and websites, and marketing of these to audiences within financial services sector, hedge funds and online gaming industries..
If you are a graphic designer who is passionate about creative design both online and in print and with the ability to work on briefs from both marketing and editorial teams under the direction of the Head of Design we are looking to hear from you. You will be be involved in all aspects of the design process, from original creative concept through to completion.
As the successful candidate will work in a small team on a varied range of creative projects including magazine artwork, email design, and event collateral.
Essential skills for this role:
Excellent design and typographic skills.
Strong creative vision and the ability to design for both online and print.
Excellent data skills and analytical thinking; knowledge of data visualisation to create infograpghics.
An excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Working well under pressure and be able to prioritise their workload.
An organised, methodical and consistent approach to work.
Knowledge of print processes.
Experience of illustrating complex data both online and in print.
HTML email template design experience
Key responsibilities will include:
Creatively designing marketing and events collateral.
Ensuring artwork is set to a consistent and high standard.
Communicating concepts to editorial and marketing team.
You will have couple of years commercial experience, this will probably be a second job for you, and you'll be looking for a role where you can show real autonomy in your approach to design whilst being able to understand how to be driven by the deadlines and individual requirements of the projects you are working on. You will be able to show how your previous commercial experience has helped to build your experience.
