Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION/DELIVERABLES: 

My client is calling for a new project master to join their growing team of creatives. As the Project Manager, you’ll work alongside account and department leaders to support the strategic, operational, and business direction of the company and its projects. 

Must Be 
• A prudent manager and inspiring operational leader 
• Able to see the big picture in a variety of settings 
• Self-directed and accountable for the projects, tasks, timelines, and resources you lead 

Responsibilities 
• Deliver concrete project plans that will lead their teams to reach their highest level of success and potential 
• Develop and refine repeatable processes to ensure operational quality and efficiency and the production of creative solutions that are consistent with client’s overall brand and mission 
• Work closely with creative, account and department directors to establish, monitor, and manage project resources, tasks, meetings, milestones, dependencies, risks, and client expectations 
• Assist in the definition of project scopes, objectives, or change requests 
• Lead, measure, and report on project performance and escalate as needed 
• Learn and understand client’s processes, and make recommendations for their improvement 
• Analyze issues with confidence and quickly provide solutions to move forward 
• Support the development client briefs, pitches, presentations, and meetings 
• Develop a knowledge of the markets and industries in which they operate and of their clients 
• Liaise with their clients to manage and grow their portfolios of work 
• Play a real role in the delivery of their work, culture, and brand 

TOOLS/MUST HAVES: 

• A minimum of a bachelors (4 year) degree in business, management, communications, or related field 
• 4-10 years of experience required, studio or agency setting preferred 
• PMP certification a plus 
• Command of performance management, resource, workflow, budget, and reporting tools and software 
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skills 
• Proven ability to think differently, have an opinion, collaborate, campaign for awesome ideas (especially those of others), and learn in the pursuit of creating products that drive value 
• Ability to be flexible and grow with a growing agency! 

**Must be local to the DC Metro area, candidates outside the area will not be considered**
